The Paranormal Registration Act of 1942

The Paranormal Registration Act of 1942 is a system used to record information regarding the activities of individuals with verifiable paranormal abilities in the United States. To register individuals, the Paranormal Intelligence Agency must show there is verifiable proof the subjects are engaging in paranormal activities or intend to use their paranormal abilities as a direct threat or attack against the United States and its citizens. The Registration Act classifies subjects into three categories: Category 1–subject poses little to no paranormal threat against the United States; Category 2–subject poses significant threat against the United States; Category 3–subjects pose immediate threat to the United States. When being registered, applicants must provide a completed application form and two forms of identification. Registration is a prerequisite to such activities as purchasing a mobile phone, internet service, opening a bank account, acquiring a credit card, oversees travel, obtaining a driver’s license, etc. Failure to register can result in subjects being detained in containment units for unspecified period of time.

This information is recorded in a physical document and kept at the Paranormal Intelligence Agency’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. Any changes in registered information must be reported to the municipal office with a 48-hour period.
